Reporting a False Positive From the Scan Report
How the one-click false-positive report works, what to write in the note, and what happens when a report is accepted.

Sometimes a finding is simply wrong: a legitimate tool, a game mod or a file that only looks like a cheat. The fastest way to fix that for you and for everyone else is to report that one finding from the app.
Report false positive vs appeal
- Report false positive is about one finding: "this file is a legitimate program". It improves detection for everyone.
- An appeal is about your verdict: "this scan should not say CHEAT DETECTED". See How to appeal a verdict.
If a wrong finding changed your verdict, do both.
How to report
- Open the scan report in the app.
- Find the finding you disagree with. Each one explains why it was flagged.
- Press Report false positive next to it.
- Add a short note if you can, for example "This is the official Aim Lab trainer, downloaded from Steam".
Only that finding and your note are sent, not your whole scan.
What happens next
Reports are reviewed by the AACGUARD team. When a report is accepted, the program is whitelisted, so it is no longer counted in anyone's scans. Players whose report is accepted also earn the Bug Hunter badge on their profile.
Tips for a useful report
- Name the program and where it came from (official site, Steam, a known developer).
- Say what it does: "a crosshair overlay", "a sensitivity converter", "a server plugin I develop".
- Don't report real cheats you used long ago: old traces already count less.
